There are 2 ways to donate.
1) Donate directly to any charity or restaurant employee relief fund. Below, I have the information for the featured charities and some other good causes I believe in. Just shoot me an email and let me know where you donated to and I will send you the *top secret password*.
If you’re comfortable with it, I’d love to know how much you donated so I can keep an accurate running tally. If not, thanks for helping and I hope you enjoy these recipes!
2) Tap the big button below and I will route your donations via my PayPal. 100% of your donations will go to the cause that you select. After I get confirmation of your donation, I will send you the *top secret password* to unlock some recipes. I will say that it’s way easier to do option 1 though lol.
Note: I don’t know anything about tax deductions, but if you donate directly to a charity like World Central Kitchen, they are a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. I’m told that’s what you’re looking for come tax time.

World Central Kitchen
Founded by Chef José Andrés, WCK has provided aid during disasters around the world for the last 10 years. To combat the effects of COVID-19, WCK has launched the #ChefsForAmerica Relief Effort.
The Lee Initiative
The Lee Initiative has turned restaurants in cities across the U.S. into relief centers to provide affected restaurant workers with dinners and essential supplies.
ROC Disaster Relief Fund
The ROC Fund is aimed at providing emergency relief to millions of restaurant workers who have already lost or expect to lose their jobs due to COVID-19.
Employee relief funds
Contra and Wildair
Wildair is one of the best natural wine bars in the city. The bread and butter is life changing. If they are serving any dessert with a granita, order 2 immediately.
Bernie’s and Frankel’s
The perfect order for 2 at Bernie’s is the wedge salad, mozz sticks, and double cheeseburger with fries. Wash it down with a cold beer or well made classic cocktail.
Fort Defiance
The best brunch in NYC. Get a plate of Creole red beans on toast with a Ramos Gin Fizz or Bourbon Milk Punch and you’ll be transported to the Marigny.
Olmsted and Maison Yaki
Olmsted has turned itself into a relief center with The Lee Initiative, but had to lay off their 70 person staff between the two restaurants due to COVID-19 forced closures. This fund is for them.
Night + Market
If I ever live in Los Angeles, my goal is to eat at Night + Market once a week. Help them out by buying gift cards, merch, and natural wine packages.
Turkey and the Wolf and Molly’s Rise and Shine
If anybody asks me for a New Orleans recommendation, the first place I think of is Turkey and the Wolf. The fried bologna sandwich is truly something to behold. Buy some dope ass merch or tip the staff directly!
Cure and Cane & Table
Cure will always have a special place in my heart because its the cocktail bar our family and friends absolutely crushed the night before our wedding. You can donate directly to their staff via Venmo @CureCo-Relief.
